The one thing I have always known is that dogs will be a part of my life. After I graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Psychology, I worked in student affairs and higher education. During that time, my first dog Honey came into my life, and I decided to train her on my own. It was a joy to see my little dog shine. After getting married and moving states, Maple came into my life and challenged me to learn more about training and behavioral challenges.

I fell in love with the process of training and seeing the dog-human bond strengthen and I needed to learn more. This led me to enroll in the Animal Behavior College where I earned my first Dog Trainer Certification (ABCDT). I went on to earn my Certified Professional Dog Trainer Certification (CPDT) and most recently my Family Dog Mediator Certification (FDM).

Hiking and camping are some of my favorite activities. Honey and Maple love it too! My husband and I love to travel together and take the pups with us as often as possible. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and can offer in person and online sessions in both languages!
